Thank you Ragu! It is indeed so peaceful having different species of birds coming in to my feeders. I can sit at my table & watch them from a large window. I also put a feeder on the ground that the ground feeders can access. This also feeds several little chipmonks, so that they leave the hanging feeders alone. I have a heated birdbath, so they can enjoy fresh water year around.

Nope, you're right. This is a Hairy. The beak IS longer than that of a Downy. Good catch!
