Default Q FZ35 setting

Hello -
Haven't been using my FZ35 - but plan to go back to it soon.
I noticed when I playback photos to view on the camera there is splotches of white flashing at different places in the photo.
Recall this being parts of the photo that are overexposed.
It seems to me that this is a setting that can be turned on and off. I would like to turn it off; but can not locate the setting. Perhaps because I do not know the proper name for this.

Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction.

You are welcome.

Can always hang around and post some shots from the FZ35, that's the camera I use.
