I wasn't aware of this feature. I haven't seen it happen with the few pictures I've taken so far. I've used the viewfinder as well as the LCD. I'll check the instruction manual tomorrow.

I've looked at the manual and and haven't changed anything (only bought it yesterday) If you use the viewfinder the pic is displayed for 2 secs there , if you use the lcd the photo is displayed for 2 secs on it . It just seems strange to me .
On my slr i take a pic using the viewfinder and the pic is auto reviewed on the lcd

Just my thoughts, but when you push the button to use the viewfinder, that is shutting off the LCD; and vice versa, if you are using the LCD, you are shutting off the viewfinder image. You can review your images in the LCD, but that is a separate step; not automatic.

So when you take a photo using the viewfinder you must press the green button to review your photo ? Thanks very much for taking the time to help

Yes.

Have you downloaded the PDF instruction manual? It has much more information than the little book that is packed with the camera.

Thanks JJ! Outside of my feathered friends, photo opportunities are few. I'm waiting for a good "moon" opportunity to try my hand at getting some shots of it!
