Landscape.

I'm still playing around with the settings, to see what works best for me; but so far I'm more than happy with the FZ70!!

I did not adjust these with Photoshop, etc., straight out of the camera.

Great shots Carol!
Congrats for the new toy....
I suggest you use a tripod when using the maximum focal length, at that distance the effect of microi-shaket was almost inevitable. Great results anyway!
Merry Christmas dear friend.

Merry Christmas to you, also my friend! Yes, ordinarily I would use my tripod, but wanted to see how well the handheld images came out. As quick as these little birds are, I'm impressed with the camera!

G'day Carol

Impressed - and so you should be with the world-leader [panny] in superzoom cameras at your fingertips ...

Well done
Phil

Phil, thanks! I'm very happy I got this Panny!

I have a lot to try out on it, many new things that my FZ40 didn't have, settings are different; so will take some time, but will be enjoyable!

The only problem I've had, is the included DVD with the "PhotoFun" program will not run. When I try to run it, I get a message to use:

1024*768 16 bit

I'm currently running:

1280*720 32 bit

It won't get past this warning, so I've not used it. Can you tell I'm not a computer genius?

Try - right-click on desktop > [from the mini-menu] > screen resolution > choose whatever is closest or 1024 x 720 > 'OK'
and see how you go

Phil, that doesn't work with Vista. I can go in & change the resolution; but for now I've removed the Panny program.
