Default I've been and gone and done it.

Finally after looking at loads of reviews I bought the FZ200 as a replacement for my old FZ7.
No one can accuse me of jumping head first :-). I must say I'm quite impressed with it so far but I've only had it a few days .I have sent off for Graham Houghtons book.
It is better in low light than I thought it would be , thanks mainly to the constant F2.8.
Slow motion video will be useful as I'm involved in sport. I cant see it replacing my D5100 but I think it will give it a good run for it's money.
At the moment I have lost all my photo's out of "My Pictures" folder ,all the folders are there but the're all empty??. I downloaded Opanda exif reader, opened one photo with it and now all my photo's have vanished. I had Opanda on my Pc some years back but got rid of it ,I never had any trouble then, so it may just be a coincidence.
Fortunately I have all my pics on an external H D.
Any tips on the FZ200 will be very welcome.
Thanks

Well after taking a few slow motion HS videos I'm very impressed with the FZ200. I wish I'd taken the plunge earlier.
I was put off by some poor reviews but I guess they were made by people expecting a point and shoot but coming from a dslr its fairly intuitive. Having said that the iA mode gives a pretty good result imho.

Congratulations with the new camera, I am glad to read that you are very happy with it.
I spent quite a while researching reviews of the FZ150 before taking the plunge last year. The photos others had posted on this forum made my mind up, a decision I have never regretted.

Have fun !
