Default Etape Eryri 2014.

It's that time of year when 1300 riders tackle the hills of Snowdonia- 3 circular routes of 47,76 and 103 miles.
FZ-150.

Nice shots Simon! That FZ-150 is showing its stuff.

Do all the riders negotiate each course, or are there three separate groups? Looks pretty grueling in either case.

The riders choose one of the three routes- called (in Welsh) Etape Bach,Canol and Mawr (small, middle, large). All are deliberately tough, taking in every possible climb available in Snowdonia..! I wait at Pen Y Pass near Llanberis, where all three routes meet for the final 10 miles or so.
And,yes, the FZ-150 still cuts the mustard....
