And take another bow, Raghu for posting those delightful pics of a train journey I'd love to take. And if you're ever in southwest Wales, You may well enjoy a trip on the Heart of Wales line but I think the ticket prices are somewhat up on what you are used to in India.

The little girl is very cute looking and she could well end up in Bollywood!

Best wishes from Scoot.

Scoot and Mario, thanks for viewing and for your comments.

I may add that the train journey was a pleasure on more than one count. Besides entertaining our granddaughter (not the girl in the picture), we also saw a small family of three elephants coming very close to crossing the track and backing off at the last moment on seeing the approaching train, trumpeting loud! It was thrilling.

We also saw, on the way, a peacock majestically sitting on the fence post of a house. Unfortunately, as the train was moving with jolts and the bird was also far off, I could not take a clear picture. Can you spot the bird?

No problem spotting the peacock, Raghu - it's about an inch below and the same to the left of the pic's centre seemingly surveying its domain!

Equally interesting is the orange 'dish' on the roof - satellite TV perhaps or maybe the house owner is a radio ham because the wires with the spacers COULD be the feeder for a tuned doublet antenna but there are three wires there and my feeder has only the necessary two.

I just love pics with a bit of a mystery!

Good observation Scoot - it IS a dish antenna for satellite TV; the cables are for electricity connection - we still have overhead wires and four wires with spacer means the house has got a 3-phase connection.
