FZ 70/72
From the 2014 "Round The Limfjord" wooden ship race an annual event that started on the 8th and finished on the 14th Sept.

The Top Sail Schooner " Lilla Dan".


The Barquentine "LOA".


A little bit of action ! (Focal length 35mm equiv. = 1800mm)


The Schooner "Fulton".

The middle one of the second post is also the one I like best. I'm letting the camera have a well earned rest, after hundreds of wooden ship photos taken over 3 days !

Thank you Geoper2 for the kind words.
I seem to remember that I may have added the least amount of tone mapping possible in Paintshop Pro, to the Marilyn Anne photo to make the sky a little more interesting.
Usually I just resize the photos, and add a very small amount of sharpening before saving, doing any more enhancing makes me feel like I'm cheating ! When I use PASM modes I have the noise reduction and shapening both set to -2 so the little bit of sharpening before saving the resized photo helps to make up for the lack of in camera sharpening and correct any slight loss of softness caused by resizing.
