Default fz10 vs Olympus 750 AF times

I recently bought a 750 after considering that and the FZ10. I picked the 750 since both took good shots, and I liked the smaller size and AA battery style. After using the 750 for a few weeks, I notice that the focus/AE time is HUGE!! I was wondering if anyone has compared this to the FZ10 time. How do they stack up?

The FZ10 is a little faster comparing reviews, but I donít think you would be especially thrilled with it either. The 750 is particularly fast when you press the shutter halfway and pre-focus before taking the shot. Most cameras suggest that as your normal shooting mode anyway. I was pleased that the FZ10 had a continuous focus mode hidden down in the menu. Continuous focus makes pre-focus a lot more practical when things or people are moving around. As soon as I found the mode I sent for an extra battery from Eagle as it takes more power and I hardly ever shoot with it off.
