Default Indian Giant Squirrel

Shot these at Tirumala. The tree cover was good but the backlight in the mid-afternoon was a a little too strong, making it a little difficult to shoot in high contrast circumstances. Hope you like these. C&C welcome.

Thanks Rudi, glad you found this interesting. I have visited Tirumala several times, but this is the first time I went up a little further where these squirrels abound. They have got accustomed to visitors feeding them fruits and nuts, and come down from the tree when you call. See this shot, which also gives an idea of their size as compared to the fist of an adult human's hand:

They are big, I think 4 or 5 times as big as the squirrels we find here in Belgium,
