made myself a filter cos we're in line for the eclipse tomorrow. Weather's notlooking promising but today was a surprise so paws crossed the clouds clear tomorrow too.

Hi Killer, I know there is an eclipse happening in some part of the northern hemisphere, but I didn't expect it this good that I don't see the sun at all! (Just kidding, eagerly look forward to seeing your photo).

Able to see it now. Nice shot of the sunspots. Glad to know you are in the line of eclipse. Look forward to seeing eclipse photos too..

Default Eclipse in Wirral, UK

It was a bit cloudy but the sun/moon did made a brief appearance.

The sun was completely obscured by the clouds almost immediately after these were taken.

p.s. if anyone looks at the exif data add 5 hours to the time, I had forgotten to reset my camera from Jamaican time!

Nice shots, Killer & Talyllyn. It is a different feel to see the sun look like crescent moon! Killer - how did you get the green color? Is it because of the filter?
