"Yep, I saw them and ate them, sorry, didn't know that they were left by you for a later meal !"

Nice photo Jim, good to see you are still here, along with a few other regulars !

Haven't been here for a while, had a brain haemorhage on the 14th February. Spent a few weeks in hospital and a rehab hospital.

Best wishes,
John.

Brain haemorhage, you did well to come out of that, recently a good friend of mine was not so lucky.
So take care of yourself and good health to you. These things make you appreciate life more. I had cancer 15 yrs ago and it changed my outlook on life completely.
My very best wishes
John

Considering that I was paralyzed on my right hand side, and could only say 3 words, and didn't know my own daughter after one week in the hospital, I would say that my progress over the following 5 weeks was amazing, especially as the doctor at the rehab hospital told my wife that she could expect me home in 3 months to 6 months, ......2 weeks later I was home, and nearly the same as before it happened. I Just have a few small problems with my short term memory and sleeping for more than 2 hours.

Sorry to hear about your friend, and your encounter with the dreaded cancer, are you cured now ?

John.

I had a scare earlier this year ,I was told that it had returned but after an investigative operation they told me it was a false alarm. So I'm one relieved bunny.
It was smokers cancer but I have never smoked even when I was in the R.A.F when everyone else but me smoked.
I like to think I'm cured but I'm cautious about being over confident.
It's good to hear of your amazing recovery because one usually about the disasters and positive stories are so very encouraging.
Regards
John

By the way jjdog2, a very nice shot, it's the sort of shot that would have won a prize at my old camera club.

Hi John,

Wow John, it's good here that you are OK now. Must have been a very difficult time for you and the family.

Not many posting on the forum anymore. I post a few to give the lurkers something to look at.

Thank care my friend.

Jim

Very difficult time for my wife and daughter, luckily I don't remember a thing from when it happened until a week or so after the operation where they stopped the blood leaking from the " anurism " spelling ??

Nice of you to post photos for the lurkers like me ! I do enjoy looking at everyone's efforts

Take care too !

Looking at his belly, I think he just forget he ate it sometime back. Nice shot Jim.

Unfortunately, that's the worse part, John (deadshot). Passive smoking affects more people. glad to hear you have come out. And great to see you recovering remarkably, John J. Best wishes to both of you.
