You can do this with the FZ1000.

You only need three things to take a decent picture these days.

1. A GOOD SUBJECT

2. Camera.

3. Some knowledge of PP software.

Thanks for the tips, but I don't think I have your talent.

It's not about talent at the level I shoot at, it's about having fun.

Have fun and post some shots with me.

Anyone one else jump in. Kind of lonely posting by myself.

Beautiful shot, Jim. And your advice is spot on. PP is absolutely necessary in most cases. Because the camera can't read your mind when you go shooting.

Rudi, here's what PP will do. Changes are sometimes not dramatic, but can make a picture more appealing, over-all. My granddaughter, at Fast Eddie's last Friday. Go karts and arcade games. Left, before. Right, after.

Thanks, nice pic. I know about PP, (I use Photoshop Elements). Although I'm taking pictures for over 40 years, my photo's are not good enough to publish.
I've read many books and others text on photography, so I now the basics, but
I think I'm a litte to lazy and not patient enough to apply them all.
I'm not that healthy anymore, so I can't go much out to take pictures.
Most pictures I take now are from my two grandchildren.
