Thanks both. I think the deer are enjoying the mild winter days we are having in Ohio.

You get close, or have you got a long lens? and do you have to travel far to get these shots.

I use the FZ35/FZ200. The deer sometimes hang out in the woods around my house.

how far away from these deer were you, and which camera did you use. I am seriously thinking about getting the Fz 200. How well do you like yours (fz200?) Also, does it have macro? J4C

Taken with the FZ35 about 20-25' away. I have no problems with the FZ200 and it does let me get shots in lower light compared to the FZ35. Yes has macro setting.

With B&H selling the FZ200 for $247.99 with free shipping you don't have much to lose.

Thanks fz200 MUST have macro! I am replacing a Fujifilm HS20EXR that almost caught fire on me, popped, fizzled, and smoke everywhere. Fz 200 is just 120mm shorter on zoom, but I hear you can't beat that 2.8 lens.If you want to see some of my pics with it slide on over to the Fuji forum. You may have to look back a few pages as I haven't posted there in a while...J4C
