True, but RF requires licensing and jumping through a lot of legal hoops in order to pass certain regulations. So, that's why (I think) there's no such wireless devices on the market other than IR or cable release.
As they say, nice idea in theory....practice is a different ball game.

Not to belabor the discussion on this particular item, but are we giving them a "wish list" or a design with all the ifs, ands, or buts, and possible obstacles weighed and solved already?

An LCD that swivels and has better picture quality would be nice.
There have been a few situations where I wished for those features.

Default Wish list for FZ10

Some type of level (like a bubble level) in LCD which tells you both vertical and horizontal level of camera.

Something I forgot to add to the Poll, and don't want to hassle Steve again to do is for a much faster AutoFocus timeframe. This may be limited due to the lens being used, but as a request, it's no less valid.
It'd be nice to try and get the FZ10's successor to be a true Prosumer product, and a good halfway house between Prosumer and dSLR options.
I'd like to see it being essentially one rung down on the ladder (so to speak) from the entry level dSLRs (300D/D70 and whatever else comes this or next year).

When this poll started I was very optimistic that the volume of people might better illustrate the opinions represented here. Each day I see this thread slip down the list and I’m concerned that it won’t be too long before it’s “off the screen.”

It’s going to be very difficult trying to convince anyone that the opinions of 47 people represent any major portion of the DSC market. What can we do to keep this alive and visible on the list?

Default Poll and question

But our opinions are worth 1000 x as much! Just kidding..

When shooting in full manual mode, do you have to hit the exposure button after each picture to make adjustments to fstop and shutter?
