Bob will only comment on products that are already available in the US and will not provide any information that is not publicly available through official Panasonic channels.

At a $499 MSRP, who cares? I mean, why would anyone pay more for a FZ3 than a FZ10 only to get less in the end? If size is an issue, why not just get a FZ1 (and upgrade it) or FZ2 for only $250? I'm also betting the sensor is the same size as the one in the FZ1/2, so you'll get 3mp at the expense of more noise.

No difference other than the the fz2 mode dial has p/s/a where the fz1 has just p. With the upgrade, having the mode dial at p gives you the same menu options as fz2 at p/s/a.
