Default FZ10 Macro does good job too!

Not only do I love the 420mm and F2.8 throughout zoom range on the FZ10, I am now pleasantly happy with the macro results as well. I'd like to share some macro pics taken from an outing this afternoon. The day was overcast, but bright. Good day to avoid shadows. Aside from some trimming no enhancements were made to the photos.

Any chance of anyone posting this to the Panasonic DPreview site? Seen so many nice posting of pics there.

Would love to get some feedback on these shots!

I really like the Sunflower and the first bee shot. Good colour all around.

Bright sunlight probably would have helped on focus which was a little soft. Shadows can be very appealing as long as they arent a result of the camera. This is where adding a closeup lens to the fz10 comes in handy. Just the addition of a +1 lens can give the fz10 macroabilty throughout the zoom and allow you to get closeups from about 3ft away thus reducing the chance of camera shadow and/or snake bites and bee stings. See http://www.ishots.net/fz1-2faq/fz1macros.htm (Applies for fz10 as well as fz1/2.)
Why dont you become a contributor at dpreview as well as here?

Thanks for your advice. Went to your link and can see what you mean re: macro lens. Will look into this. Depth of view seems to improve greatly!
Definately want to try some pics under bright sunlight, but I swear the weather here in Hong Kong has been either overcast or smoggy for the past 2 months. Missing out on the full moon shots as well!
Would love to join dpreview forum, but I can't register. Seems to be a security problem and seems that quite a few people seem to have the same problem. Tried disabling all sorts of things without luck!!

Thanks for your efforts! I have tried registering at both work and home, using diff. providers, with no success! What I will try is using Yahoo address as someone has done. If that fails I will contact my service provider! Cheers!
