Hi Thorsten, congratulations on purchasing the FZ10 and it appears that your camera is working nicely in your hands. Extremely crisp and sharp, nice job.

Enjoy!

Thx for your kind replies.

The second picture is with additional digital zoom ( I wanted to give it a try)

Nr.1 is cropped and resized and a little bit sharpened.
Nr.2 (36x) right out of the cam + resized
Nr.3 12 xZoom and only resized + little sharpening.
Nr.4 resized,framed and little sharpening

Camera settings for sharpness, saturation, contrast were standard.

All steps were made with FixFoto
http://www.j-k-s.com/enu/index.htm

What settings do you use ?

Regards

Thorsten

I used to have all of my settings on low but got tired of tweaking in Photoshop. The standard settings work pretty well but I do occasionally change the contrast.

Hi there

I bought this cam two days ago. After reading a lot here and elsewhere I decided to go for the FZ-10. I had a Minolta S 404 before (4 Megpixel, 4x zoom) but NOW the colours are just brilliant and the way they shud be. With my old cam I always had to edit them. This is "almost" over now. I love it.
