Bob,

The EXIF field "35mm Focal Length" is calculated incorrectly in the FZ10. It seems to be using a factor of 6.0 instead of 5.8 resulting in 72mm being calulated to 432mm instead of 420mm. This is causing some problems in my image management software when I select images by focal length.

Is there any chance this could be corrrected in a firmware upgrade?

I'll look into into, though I seem to recall that the calculation may be an approximation. Let me see what I can come up with.

Bob,

I notice that the FZ20 is spec'ed as 36-432mm (35mm equiv). Since it appears to use the same lens as the FZ10, does that mean that the FZ10 is actually 36-432 and not 32-420 as originally spec'ed?

Looks like it is no longer a bug, but a feature
