From http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/re...essage=9996427

"hurriedly give some first impressions:

7 shots on burst mode at high resolution, good

new styled neckstrap sucks

adapter does not thread to camera, but seems to lock on securely w/ the new bayonet mount

TL-55 threads up about 1 3/4 turns on front threads, seems secure, will try stacking

4X digital zoom is neat, gives clean images (as clean as can be expected)

focus assist light is great, did not fail to focus in low light testing, sometimes at greater than 5 feet

one push switching from EVF to LCD appreciated

EVF image seems much larger at given zoom ranges, more research needed

More info posted later today.

Just wondering if the FZ 3 would have less noise because it has lower mega pixels than the FZ 20?

I saw some FZ3 shots posted in http://mud.smugmug.com/gallery/201143

In the sample with glasses and newspaper, I noticed a lot of 'maze' patterns.

Are they some kind of Moire patterns?

It's more like Noise Reduction pattern and purple fringing is still there!!
So disappointed by the new Venus II engine.

Attention panasonic supporter, it's not that I expect too much but panasonic said on their website they've improved in the above aspects.

I am expecting to have a new topic: "So bored with (Venus II/Panasonic/FZ3/FZ20) rejector".:blah:
