Just bought myself the FZ20, I have no previous experience with digital cameras but decided to jump aboard after reading over the last few months and trying to decide on a camera to buy.
I would welcome any words about the photo's I take, so far I have three shots that I like, of the 100 or so I have taken most didnt come out as expected but thats because I've been trying all different settings learning what does what and getting a feel for digital photography.

Thanks.

Pictures are really nice. And I have been involved in digital photography over the years and I still am having a problem w/the fz20 to get great shots, so keep up the good work.

Early reports talk of vignetting, especially at wideest zoom.

Any comments on this?.......

With all the photos I've now taken with the FZ20 I haven't really noticed much in terms of vignetting. I'm far from a knowledgeable photographer as this is my first digital camera but I'm not seeing much light fall off on the outer edges.
So far I'm very happy with the FZ20, I had problems focusing in low light enviroments but I hear thats to be expected. Using continuous AF helped a great deal along with spot metering.

Well if the lens mades some vigneting that should appears in log focal (tele) or wide angle, is easier to see it in skies. If you want one example to compare I can post one.

I am interested in knowing if it happens. I have one Fz1 (turned into Fz2 by firmware) and I will not change to Z15 or 20 until they have fixed this insue, if they can. More Megas are not my biggest interest, but better flash, manual focusingand NO vigneting are. Also would like to know if noise, that is a little bigger than wat I would like in my camera, is less in the new ones.

Here is one from the first times.

You can see a diferent Blue in the left upper corner. In the right one is diferent too but is less visible.

You will find it easier to find if made a selection by colour in a graphics software.
