The Norwegian website "Akam.no" has published a review of the new Panasonic DMC-FZ20 digital camera. Would anybody translate or summarize that review for us?.

Kindly check the following link: http://akam.no/art.php?artikkelid=10637

Thankx,

The conclusion (Konklusjon) says:

The Panasonic Lumix FZ-20 is clearly the best ultra zoom we have tested. Some minor improvements and a generally better picture quality makes the camera significantly better than the FZ10.

The lens is naturally what impresses us most. It has a very large zoom and a very bright lens and good sharpness. The OIS is obviously a large plus.

In low light situations the LCD screen is too dark and in sunlight the EVF must be used because the LCD lacks anti glare coating.

Physically the FZ-20 reminds of a SLR but the FZ-20 can't replace an SLR. The auto focus is too slow to capture a bird in the air at full tele. [1]
The startup time isn't too good but besides this the camera perfoms fine.

The picture quality is very good and in spite of some noise the FZ-20 gives the best picture of todays +10x zoom.

My comments:
[1] This is not true. I have captured birds in flight with help of the continous auto focus
