Did you go on their Hawk expedition? I wanted to go, but had a long day the day before, and getting up at 6 to make a 7:30 hike wasn't happening. I ended up going to Longwood Gardens instead. And although it was windy, the sky was the deepest blue and the clouds the whiteist white I've ever seen. A really perfect day to shoot. I'll have pics up on my image site soon..

Hello All

I am new to this forum and onlu got my FZ20 yesterday, but i could not resist sending a picture in. This picture impressed me with the cameras abilities. It was taken on an heavy overcast day in light rain at 12x handheld. F2.8, 1/25sec, -1/3 EV. I was actualy taking pictures of something else and he landed in front of me.

Wow, Dassie, what luck for a boid to cooperate like that. Must have been an exhibitionist. The darker sky adds to the mood.

Shutter speed was 1/100 at f4 apeture i shot this in manual mode with a tripod...the hummer is hovering in mid air that's why i got the shot at a low shutter speed to stop the wings i would try over 320 .. all my shots were done using iso 50..i will try using a faster iso tomorrow and see if that' speed's things up
