I like the shot at the slower shutter speed with motion blur around the wings. Personally, I think the ole frozen- wing-hummingbird pic is cliche. Fun to shoot, but cliche none the less.

Impaled by a hummingbird? Didn't realize they were so aggressive. Guess all that flappin' makes'em pissy.

yes ..thats why i never turn my back on a hummingbird...they think it's real funny when they buzz your head by inches going about 35 mph.....BTW.. have you ever heard a hummingbird laugh..
