TAKE THE DOWNTIME TO GO OVER THE MANUAL AND LEARN AS MUCH ABOUT WHAT THE CAMERA CAN DO. IT'S A GREAT UNIT. ENJOY YOURSELF:|

Yay! Congrats on the newest addition to your family! I lovelove my camera! Isn't it awful to have to wait for that battery to charge?
Nice job on the macros. I like the sepia one the best.

Hey Fireworkz great shots! Congrats on finally getting your new FZ20! I got mine today too!! I finally got the tracking info last night and followed the camera's progress from the store in Stratford, to the UPS depot in Concord, then on to Hamilton and finally at about 11am this morning, that wonderful man in brown came to my door with package in hand! I was SO excited! Like you, I had to wait for that darn battery to charge but while I did I began reading the manual. So much to learn and take in! Finally when the battery was fully charged (about 2 hrs) I snapped a few shots in the house . What fun! After picking the kids up from school, I decided to drive over to our local Duncan and Wright store and pick up a filter as you suggested. I also bought a nice new camera bag. The store clerk was quite impressed when she saw that my camera had a Leica lens on it. This store does not carry any Panasonic. They have the more traditional camera brands, Olympus, Canon, Nikon etc. I also bought a new lens cover that fits onto the new filter since . The clerk gave me some coupons for free prints and said she was looking forward to seeing what this camera could do. After my purchases I took the kids to the park and started shooting! Hopefully I'll have a photo or two to post here soon. Can't wait to try the card reader. Looks like a fast one and combined with the fast SD card that came with this package, those photos should upload very quickly!

Looking forward to seeing more of your FZ20 photos soon!
