I dont understand--it was my understanding that the UV filter for the Pana LZ20 was 72mm. I bought a Quantaray 72mm filter, and its too big. The threads are way oversized after you unscrew the ring on the lens. Are the filters supposed to be 62mm? I feel dumb. Rwill

the 72mm is when you use the hood that comes with the camera. The hood is 72mm.

Without the hood, you can't attach any filter, unless you buy aftermarket adapter.
