Some gripes about tne new coolpix 8800:
1. You can only set an aperture of 5.2 at full zoom.
2. The lag between shot and shot is above 3 seconds...too much!!! since the FZ20 lates only one second.
3. Some images posted on pbase.com show noise levels a bit above average....
Anyway, We have to wait some professsional review to take a decision and give an opinion about the image quality.

No, definitively no....my former post is according to the information posted on the Dcresource.com site, and as you've noticed I do not say anything about the quality of the images 'cos I've only seen some of them on Pbase.com
Im gonna wait for some professional review of this camera to judge its performance and if it is really worth the money.
