We have NickTrop for the FZ1 and Bobc for the FZ20 but nobody seems to stick up for the FZ10.
Its got the best of both worlds, lots of MP's for bob and little noise for Nick. I now know how to solve Nicks and Bobs argument, they should sell their cameras and buy the FZ10, problem solved.
Just Kidding!
All depends what you want/need (and we all need 420mm zoom!).
I took some photos of a Jacaranda tree today in Sydney city. Thought I would share them.

Photo 3

Incase you were wondering:
Photo 1: 1/400 s, F4.0
Photo 2: 1/125 s, F4.0
Photo 3: 1/320 s, F4.0
ISO 50 for all three (I almost always use this)

Great shots Treemonkey, colors are just wonderful.
I am going to stick with my FZ10 until i have enough money to buy good DSLR.
There is no reason to buy another ultrazoom as image quality is not going to get much better...

Great Shots Treemonkey. Personally I like all the Limix's

I only stick up for the FZ20 when people try to bash it.

Shred,

As far as image quality on the ultra zooms go. You may want to hold off. I have looked at reviews on some DSLR's up to $1,500.00 that have noiseier and poorer images than the Lumix's.

Also. I don't know if you are aware of the liquid lenses that they are developing. I would not spend a lot of maney on a DSLR (which is basically an over priced digital camera that you can buy a bunch of lenses for that will cost you even more money than the camera itself).

This technoligy is going to take a drastic turn (I think), and fairly soon).

I have an FZ10....I was planning to upgrade to the new FZ20 but after seeing a lot of sample photos I guess the FZ10 image quality has not been overcame. My FZ10 saturates colors better than the other Fzs, is less noisy (almost unnoticeable) and very sharp.
I have not heard anyone regretting about the FZ10, I believe all the FZ10 users are happy with their buy as Iam.
But there's a general truth - FZs users are satisfied with their product and stick up for their camera because of the great shots they get -
FZs causing additicion and very loyal customers - how many FZs does this forum help to sell on behalf of Panasonic??? "Many" I think.

An FZ10 sample shot.

The colors and detail of these are fantastic. Any post work done to them, or is that terrific aussie sun?

I couldn't justify the upgrade either ! as the FZ10 does everything and more than I need it too...I'm one happy FZ10 owner
