anybody try google's picassa image organizer? I just tried it today and really like it. I like the feature where you can email your images with one click and don't have to worry about resizing. It's all done for you automatically. I'm curious to see what people are using...

The name of the software is Picasa. I got a copy from Ritz camera originally. It is a great tool for organizing and printing photos. The web site is http://picasa.com. The download is free.

The other nice thing about Picasa is that it is also edible. It is the only edible photo organizer available. Leave it to Google... that's why they're the market leaders.

Ive found it to be a great program, a little simple but pretty handy. The feature I mainly use id the conversion of Galleries to web pages. Its a quick and easy way to create photo galleries. I used it on my site at:

I use Picasa and find it very handy. Probably one of the better photo organizers out there. All of the other ones I've tried always do something stupid that gets on my nerves... like moving all of my photos to their folders instead of just remembering where I put them.

I'll have to try the web-export. Looks like it works very well.

Very cool program! I downloaded the free version and in 5 minutes was able to create a nice webpage in an existing website I maintain. Check it out:

I think I have to buy this now! Thanks for the great tip.

BTW... I didn't take the pics. Someone took them HI-RES and Picasa resized them and created the thumbnails on the fly... awesome.
