Just discovered that my recent post on 'Orange bugs' and 'camoflauge' has 'disappeared'. Is this a common occurence? or what happened?

I don't know if this is occurs often, but several have commented that threads are missing...including a couple of my own.

Dont worry, it seems Steve is redesigning his forums, he has moved your threads to the new "Post your Photos" forum.....you will find them on the "Close Up" section.

Exactly the same for your threads Nick, go to the "post your photo" section.

Just found mine too. This is an inconvenience. We post pics only from Panasonic cameras in here.

Does this mean we have to go to all these other places and mix our posts up with posts from cameras other than panasonics.

Next thing you know they'll be taking the post browse button off on these threads.

Steve should have left a message, at least one day before moving the threads like happens on other forums.

It's gonna be harder to help out the Panasonic users this way. We'll have to be in 50 threads at once.

And being a Web/Software Developer, I see no reason this has to be done this way. If anything it's an inconvenience to the users.

Or maybe it's what they think the users want. When I get assigned a project. the first thing I do is go to the user and find out what they want and how they want it. Then I give it to them. Then I follow up to make sure they are happy with it, and get feedback for improvements until they are happy.

If I where to do something like this at work. I would probably be looking for another job right now.

But what do I know.

I suggest to send emails to Steve with suggestions ...I am sure he is open to it ...he can't think of everything and the best way ... teamwork makes the dreamwork!
