bobc, I wish I could remember what pictures I posted, I took so many. After cropping the pics I just closed the photo editor. I should have marked the ones I used  Sorry about that. I think the settings on the cameras were close but not the same. Shutter speed was different by 100 I think but I'm not 100% sure. I am going to try again tonight with the information you posted and see what happens. That is if the clouds go away. Thanks for your input.

BTW Nice moon pics. very sharp!
Thanks Fox. Yours are very nice as well.

Look forward to seeing your next ones.

What do you think of my first moon shot? I took it with my edible FZ10 in automatic mode. I just let the camera do all the work.

I must say, impressive shots from both of ya. For some reason I like the part moon shots rather than the full moon shots. Just something about the details as they merge into the darkness. That really appeals.

Great shots, heck I might even try the FZ10 and see how it goes.

All the best and nice work folks.

Danny.

... wow, that's a low iso and fast shutter speed ratio for this kind of shot! Not doubting you, but it must have been a very bright moon.

(... you know I'm bust'n on you by the way...:crazy

Agree... I think it gives the moon more 3d depth. Sometimes full moon pics have a flat 2-d look.

Just posted my second try at a moon shot. I started a new topic so we didn't get to many pics to a thread and slow the load time.
