Have you looked at the Mamiya7, I think it is a better camera, and I think it is lighter and a bit more compact.

It's a beauty... great optics. Thanks for the recommendation, Nancy. I might just pick me up a Kiev to fool around with just to get my feet wet before laying out the dollars for "the system" but I definately have "the bug".

I have used the Pentax 67 it's a monster, I always described it as a 35mm camera on steroids! When you take a picture with it, the mirror moving makes such a loud klunk, it's a wonder that it totally doesn't blur the image, but it definitely doesn't. You can get some great negative/slides with it. But from what I have read the Mamiya7 is a better camera (though I never have tried it).

I've heard the same... truthfully, the Mamiya 7 is awesome but a bit more than I want to spend, and I hear the build quality is just so-so. (Light for a reason - plastic parts.)

Actually, I am suffering from a bad case of camera lust. I saw an old, restored Agfa Isollette up on eBay... Love at first site. I MUST HAVE HER! [I always loved old cameras - not a collector - of anything - but if I were to collect stuff it would be that. This one is fully restored, CLA'd, the works. She's a beauty...]

- unless someone else bids crazy money (which happens there a lot...)

Nick
