Took these today during my own family outing

Please let me know what you think....

(PS: For dial up users please let me know if opening this thread was a problem for you or not...I will adjust it if so...)

#1 Grasshopper.....small little fella...had difficult getting it in focus
FZ10+6T+Sigma macro+ext bounce flash
Aperture: f/8.0
ISO: 50
Exposure Time: 0.005s (10/2000)
Manual Focus, Manual exp

#2 Mud skipper...did not notice the insect on the nose until post processing...
FZ10+6T
Aperture: f/8.0
ISO: 50
Exposure Time: 0.008s (10/1250)
Auto Focus, Manual exp


#3 Snake! Notice this along the way back on the road! Did not dare take a macro on it as it was hissing when I approach!.....not sure if its poisonous
FZ10
Aperture: f/8.0
ISO: 50
Exposure Time: 0.025s (10/400)
Auto Focus, AE

I just love your macro posts. Not only are they amazing in and of themselves - they are composed so well!

Well, the composition are always improved after post editing....can't do that so well when framing the shot....only very ocassionally does that happen.

All 3 are just great. Excellent work and I like your settings there. Dial up can handle a little bigger with no problems, this loaded fairly quick. I must say a big thanks for thinking of us

tell me something, I would like to know why do you always set an aperture of 8.0 ???

Hi all! Thanks for the kind comments!

fz10_user :Apeture is set at F8 so that I can achieve a greater depth of field (DOF), so more of the subject remains in focus.
