I guess if your only going to use a filter and it works, it's not a bad idea.

I would not really recommned it. Don't like the lens out in the open like that and you can't really use it with macro or teleconverters because its so heavy. For the same price I would go for a Phayee.

Agree with Rezajune. I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than a light weightfilter. The stress of adding a heavier converter lens would make it questionable at best. Save yourself $9 and get the raynox rt5264p. Keep a 52mm uv filter on and protect the lens and extension housing.

If you are not interested in a converter, and want to be minimalist filters onlysurely this is not a bad idea, OK a little expensive compared to the other converters such as the Phayee, but does that make it bad?

IfI put any converter on my camera body then I would not fit the camera in my Op-Tec case, and the most Iam ever likely to use is 3 filters whiich weigh a few grammes each.
