Got my new FZ-20(though not the black one I wanted). I have seen a lot of stunning FZ-20 photos on this and other forums and some ordinary ones too. In fact some of the photos, particularly close-ups and indoors, looked pretty ordinary.

While I am grappling with first shots with my camera,I just kinda wondered whether the mindboggling shots I sawon the forums had a lot to do with the add-on filters/lenses. If so ,then it will be a dampener because Iwanted to be able to take very good quality pics with what I get in the box.

I will highly appreciate if some good samaritanposts some good picstaken without the aid of add-on lenses, so as to boost my morale.

Thanks in advance.

The flower was shot in macro mode... Just walkt up got as close as I could... And took the shot...

No enhancemants at all... Just resized to meet the file size criteria.

All shots that I post on this site are right out of the camera, unless I specify it.

Thanks... And I'll post some more in a little bit.

You can go to my site and see some samples as well...

They are all mostly just point and shoot using the different modes. And all straight out of the camera.

This was taken on a cloudy overcast day with my FZ20. In Macro mode and re-sized to post here.

Taken indoors under Flourescent lights in Macro mode again right out of the camera. This was the first day with my camera and I was just trying different things. So I shot my allowence for the week.

I will have to say that what else could anyone else want to be convinced of what the FZ20 can do? smac that marcro of the wasp brings back memories of those things when living back out in Hawai'i and California.

The rest of the shots were excellent and also sharing how you took those shots help any newbie as well. Keep posting and sharing.
