Hi everyone,

I just jumped back into digital photograph this last week. I was waiting for some compelling equipment at the right price. The FZ3 was just the thing. Here in MN these days we are seeing a lot of steam trails from cars, chimneys etc. I always marvel at the beauty of them. Here is a quick image I snapped from the 9th floor conference room. Had to do it through the dirty window:roll: but is turn out ok after I; resized, sharpened and auto leveled in Photoshop. Hope you like it.

Brett -

This is a fantastic photo! I hate to seem to uncritical, but folks jump on here and post the most fantastic stuff. The subject matter is both unique and oddly beautiful.

Nice stack. Great shot. Is that a power plant stack?

Willow and Bobc, thanks for your comments.

Bobc, it is a stack for thedown town Saint Paul, Districtheating and coolingplant. They supply all the steam heat for the buildings in the city. Very few have their own systems any more. It's just cheaper to buy it from them. Also cuts down on the pollution. They run very clean, most of what you see is only water vapor.

Thanks again guys! :G
