Well, my dress uniform is 300 miles away at the base I serve at, because in early December we had a full dress inspection, and I did not feel like dragging it home so I left it in my locker. But I have not been able to send anything to the forum for a couple of days now, so tomorrow I'll have my wife upload a couple of scans (not taken by any of my cameras) We'll have a guessing game to see who can pick me out from the 12 same uniforms! :?
I am sorry we got off on the wrong foot. I read that one part of your post and my fingers just started typing (must of had a flash back). I think you are a great soldier, and I commend you for serving your country as you do. And being a Sergeant, I'm sure you are a good leader as well.

Thank you for your post.

Do it, Buddy! 10 days and counting for me! Next week, I'm going out to a bar with some friends, and a couple of them smoke... THAT will be a test.

You licked everything else, you can do this! You wanna be around to see your grandchildern grow up, don't ya? Come on, we'll do it together. 'Cept I have a 10 day head start. (I'm on the patch by the way... working for me.)
Congrats Nick. If you can go to a bar and not smoke... You will definately have kicked it. I am thinking about it, and when I feel strongly enough, I will try.

I can't just jump right into it with you though buddy, but if and when I do, I will let you know.

Thanks.

I am just a humble and modest and yes slightly quirky guy who would like to offer a Picture (the original intent of this post I believe) to all of the men and women who have been put in harms way. As well as those who support and aide them in a very hard job at a very difficult time. I took this picture today and as soon as I saw it I new were it had to go. I salute you all and hope for your safe return soon.

Respectfully,

smac

Ok, I see that uploads are going through now, so I'll share a shot someone took of me at my graduation from my last technical training school, please forgive the camera and the shot, but all that was available were disposable cameras.

OK guys - if anyone is wondering who deleted a LOT of messages in this thread, it was me. Let's keep it ON TOPIC and non-political and non-religious. This topic is already off-topic for the forums but I have nothing but the utmost respect for our servicemen -- I lost several good friends in VietNam.So pleasetake your political or religious views elsewhere - thanks. Season's Greetings and I hope everyone has a great New Year !
