Hi,

I hopeyouhas a DC output of 8.4V - not84.V - as you wrote :-)

But you had made mistake with rezistor. You can not use 20 ohm - it is too high.

Consider - out 8.4V, min. battery voltage 6.0V - it means: 8.4-6.0=2.4V

2.4/4ohm=0.6A - it is OK

This start current is acceptable.

Doesnt the manual indicate 8.4V DC and 0.43A as outputs?

Why do i need to setup at 6V? The battery is 7.2V right?

Im sorry if im asking too many questions, I just want to make sure that i dont fry the battery.

Hi,

sorry for my late reply, I had a lunch.

yes,the manual indicates 8.4V DC and 0.43A as outputs, but it is only output conditions. It is not charge current.

Yes,battery has 7.2V, it is true, but when you charge it, it will be 8.4V and after application (when FZ10 automatically switch off) it is only 6V. and there is that reason why you have to consider battery with 6V.

conclusion:

your charger must have max. 8.4V (better less - 8.2V or 8.3V)

put resistor 4 ohm to output

you can leave 3. contact free - it is only thermistor for meassuring of temperature

donĀ“t hesitate to ask me if you want
