Been waiting to upload these since Thursday.

Well our "kid" is a day old and seemingly doing fine. He survived the cold 5 degree night last night and is up and nursing just fine, so he will probably make it. This is our first home born kid and it is his mothers also, but her instincts are strong and she is taking good care of him. Just so I don't make people sick of seeing pictures of him I'll only do a weekly update after this.

I can't imagine anyone being "sick" of this... it's very cool. The neat thing about this particular forum - apart from camera discussion/debates, is it's interesting to see photos from folks with lifestyles, cultures, countries different from our own. The pics along with the interactive commentary makes it more "real" and fun.

I'm an urbanite. I've driven past farms, never raised a "kid" (goat that is...) Photography is the "glue" if you will that makes it work.

Keep'em rolling - please, by all mean!

--------------> Oh, and can you please hold on to those 5 degree nights a little longer? Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
