Yesterday was a beautiful and the there were tons of hawks around the refuge. This is one of which I was able to get a very clear picture.

very nice work smac!

i like his choice of perch (or your choice of shooting position), how there is only two branches in front of him...

tack sharp eye too

i think this might look pretty good cropped vertical, to take out some of the branches...

Thanks Vito, I really admire your creative eye. So, praise from you is an honor. Funny you should mention the vertical crop, because in the other shot of this hawk I tried that very thing. See for yourself, you have a good sense for framing and balance. Thanks again for the encouraging words.

i like this one too! i like being able to see both eyes! especially how sharp they are here

now we got a wildlife photographer showing off the FZ's capabilities
