The valley fog lifted for the first time in 4 days so guess where I went? Yep, back to the refuge. Unfortunately most of the birds were off the refuge. So after 28 pictures I called it quits and came home to learn something about Photo Shop Elements. I did take a couple of shots of a lone Red Tail hanging on for dear life in the gusty wind. The sun was about 30 degrees to my left and I had to shield the lens with my hand. I wasn't hoping for much but, was pleasantly surprised when I got home and saw how much detail the FZ was able to get even with the severe backlight. See for your self.
I did do a little post processing but nothing too severe. Slight enhance, and adjust contrast and shadow. That's about it.

Nice one smac.

I put some feeders in my yard last weekend. Hopefully I'll get some good shots soon to post.
