looks much better, I gave it a try, hope you don't mind, but I blew out the beautiful blue sky and couldn't find my burn tool in PS, I still don't really know how to use the program, well....here it is (I think yours is better!)

Yes, Fox, you improved on an already excellent photo! Kudos

Nancy Gabby, I also like the austerity of your "take"...it conveys the often flat colors of winter in a wonderful way...it is almost like a fineetching :-)

Thanks Nancy and digcamfan for the reply. Nancy, I think yours give it a different look as digcamfan said. That's the cool thing about photography, You can take one picture, do a little edit (or shoot it in a different way) and the whole feel and mood of the picture changes. my picture is too white, maybe a bit overexposed, I was just trying to get detail in the shadow. But the sky looks terrible in comparison to your picture(s). It was a very quick attemt, but your second pic is right on the money, great work!
