I don't want to bore you guys with amateurish shots but thought the colors were nice. I thank you for any feed back.

It aren't just your thoughts; these colors are nice

Just to try something constructive: Maybe a 16:9 widescreen crop would do some good to the 2nd pic; or try to play around some with that powerline-like thing in the foreground.

What cam did you use?

These are wonderful shots... the forst one especially. GA is the place for colorful skies... and beautiful starlit summer nights. The first one would look nice framed.

Thank you for the reply Nick. I'm a little intimated to post pictures on this forum with so many great photographers posting. I'm taking Rezajunes advise to try to learn this skill using the links he supplied and finding a lot on my own.

WA has its share of pretty sunsets... i shot this one last august, using my li'l Panasonic LC43... a bit noisy, especially when viewed full size, but the colors were simply too gorgeous to pass up! :-)

Very nice shots, the first is my favorite, i like the cloud structure and colors and the siloette of the landscape, i like it all great job!

Very nice shot as well squirl033, i like the silloettes of the trees in the forground against the colors of the sky. Well done.
