Just got new fz-15 when I take a pic with i.s. on mode 2 pics are great, but when I turn my camera vertical and take pics, everyone is blurred. Does stabilization not work when you turn camera vertical. Had a olympus 2100 uz and never had this problem. Would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks

Are you using a flash?

Does it work in mode1?

the OIS function should work in vertical format. at least the instruction manual doesn't say anything to indicate it won't... perhaps holding the camera in that position isn't as stable for you as in the horizontal position? what are you trying to shoot? are you using digital zoom?

Probably a daft question but....are you obscuring the focus meter with your fingers when you turn the camera that way.

No I'm not using digital zoom

Can't say for sure that I'm not obscuring the focus meter

Will try again and see if that was the cause

Sorry it took so long to get back, computer decided it didm't want to work anymore

Thanks for the input
