I know these aren't Panasonic pics but since I started the other thread here with a Panasonic I thought for comparisons sake I would post these photos here as well.
The circular pattern of eight LED lights ( there's a certain irony there given that spiders have eight eyes don't you think?) in the eyes of the spider are the results of the Macro Cool-light for the nikon that threads onto the 28mm lens of the 4500. I've posted a picture of what it looks like as well.

Nikon Cool-Light for Macro photography. Attaches to the 28mm lens.

Answer: Not very well. Tarantulas hunt by feel, not sight.

He was named Pete after the cross country coach who hates spiders. It was only fitting since the team members that caught him used the coaches tupperware tub to bring him back. :G I love it!:lol::lol:

Check this thread if you want to see the whole Pete and nothing but the Pete.

Interesting smac. Great shots. I've thought about the led rings. Whats the max aperture you can use with those. F/8, F/11 ??

Also looked ata battery poweredfluorescent ring light. They look very interesting awell.

All the best smac, nice work mate.

Danny.
