Man o man! What excellent photos. Everything about these are fantastic. I really like the scale of the snail to the leaf in the first shot and the second shot has great contrast between the snail and the leaf. These could both be posters. I would like them to be poseters.

Nice work,
smac

All images you've posted are breathtaking.....you and nzmacro must be the best macro shooters that I've ever met.

Well-done job.

Keep posting....

P.D. Why dont you try something different from macro photography?

Tch...

The macros I've seen on this forum are - literally, no BS, better than any I've ever seen. If not in an exhibit, they belong bound, in a book, on a coffee table, displayed in all their glory on fine large glossy paper for the masses to enjoy.

... I ain't joking.

If I don't comment on one of your posts, or nz's, or willow's macros it is only for a lack of superlatives, or others have stolen my thunder in their comments.

Not only that - my french friend, after you're done taking their pictures, you can make some yummy escargot.

Escargot Recipe... (a personal favorite...)
In medium bowl combine escargots (snails), mushrooms, line melted butter parsley, garlic salt and pepper.Set aside for 5 mints. Prepare mushroom caps. Put half a teaspoon of bread crumbs in each mushroom cap. Spoon one escargot and garlic butter into each cap. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
