i caught this li'l fella resting on a rock at Marina Park on the shore of Lake Washington. the sharp eyes among you will no doubt pick out the slight purple fringing along his back and head... i guess even the Venus Engine II can be overcome if the contrast is too great! :sad: but from all i've read, the FZ's are stillmuch better in that regard than most other digicams...

Ya know what? Who cares? Much ado about nothing. I blame reviewers for consumers hyperfocusing on things like that and a bit of noise. It's like saying Cindy Crawford could be beautiful if it wasn't for that mole. Beautiful shot... "mole" and all.
