Her are some of my macro attempts from the last few weeks. I would appreciate any comments.
I realise that the first photo has some serious hot spots but there wasnt enough light so I had to use the flash.

This guy just sat there and allowed me to take as many photos I as liked. Bugs can be so nice sometimes.

I really like the shot. What did you bounce the flash off of? I also have a SunPak 383 but I haven't done much with it yet. Your lighting looks so even, I would really like to be able to control my flash like that. Excellent job.

Hi Smac,
I usually use anything white. Actually as it was Christmas day I used a white envelope taped to the top of the flash, no need for anything fancy. I also tried to bounce it off my hand but gave the first photo to much of a warm look.

I opened this up thinking it would be macros of christmas tree ornaments-very small ones of course:roll:but bugs should have known TM. Great as usual though, the colors on the flower are so vivid-wow and also like the moth(thinking it is by the furryness),but is that a spider web to the left of him? Maybe thats why he sat so still.

Happy:|,
