it was a glorious (if cold) day here in Seattle, so i took my toy to see if i could capture some nice shots of the city...

Great pictures. What settings did you use. Boy, I sure love the Seattle skyline.
Does Ivars still have a restaurant down near the ferry station? I used to get their fried clams for the trip to Bremerton when I was there in the Navy. Yum, my mouth is watering.

i shot these using aperture priority set at f5.6-f8 from a tripod, shutter speeds whatever the camera picked, between 1 and 3 seconds mostly. zoom settings from 4-8x. the shot of rainier was at full 12x zoom.

yeah, ivar's still has the restaurant on the waterfront, along with one on lake union... how long ago were you stationed in bremerton?

hard to believe the Needle was built over 42 years ago... it was really ahead of its time back in '62...
