These are quite beautiful. Every time I see pictures from a Z1 or 2, I am impressed with the smoothness and clarity they produce. I have a Z20, and at times am disappointed with the noise that shows up in the photos. Well done!!......thekman.

This is textbook stuff on how to compose a shot with flowers. The "rule of thirds" is used in all (but the second) however, it really works well with the fourth, as does the negative space. I also liked how you cropped these to a square 1:1 aspect ratio - which again, lends itself to portraits. The "strange cactus" is strange indeed. It looks like it could have been one of Freud's house plants. :G

The lotus is a beautiful flower that we don't get to see much on this side of the globe. Keep'em rollin' Basac - and thanks!

Basac,

You have definitely shown that the potential of the FZ1v2 far surpasses possibly what the engineers at Panasonic had in mind. You have shown the power of the Lumix lense and then some. The megapixel debate goes out the window with what you have shown here. The only plus with more megapixels is cropping and larger print photos. Other than that,I can't say anyone could tell the difference. It goes without saying that your digital photography skills is a benchmark for others to try and achieve.
